Security Problem
At the time of my last Full Tilt session, it appeared that my account had much less in it than I expected. I went to try and top it up, and was locked out.
I have now sent the documents requested of me by Full Tilt security. It will be interesting to see whether they unfreeze my account in a timely fashion, AND whether they determine that my account may have been hacked.
I've recently had a spate of serious inconveniences online. You may not see as many hands an hour when you play live, but at least there are living, breathing human beings to deal with, and a management you can speak with face-to-face when you need to.

I read pocketfives.com a lot and for a while it seemed like every day there was a new thread about someone's FTP account getting hacked.
You don't share a computer or have your settings programmed to remember your name/password, do you?
I do not share my computers. There's no reason anyone would have access to my password.
It makes me wonder how they are being hacked - like if it's a random word generator that tries repeatedly or if it's a computer vitrus that can track keystrokes.
If it's the former, you'd hope they would have a security measure where two or three wrong attempts of your password would lock the account and force you to answer questions.
One thing is for sure: It seems to be happening on Full Tilt more than anywhere else and after the AP/UB scandals I will always be wary that an employee of the site could be the culprit.
Sorry to hear that Cardgrrl. Hopefully they reimburse you. I agree with you on the live game. At least you have a live person if there is ever a problem.
It could very well be a keylogger of sorts. They do target them at poker account

@joxum: I use Macs, so the likelihood of it being a virus or keylogger is very slim.
CG, I'm not sure if Full Tilt has the same option but on Stars you can add a PIN number to your account which I've done. Also, I'm sure you haven't but don't select 'save password' - some programmers are a bit lazy and save the password in a file on your PC which is easily hacked.

Hi Cardgrrl. I doubt very much it is any more than the security guys being overzealous. I had used Pokerstars for about 7 years when suddenly last weekend they decided they wanted about TEN forms of identification. This was triggered by me withdrawing to a card I hadn't used for some time. It's a massive inconvenience, and once you come up on their radar they are like a dog with bone and won't let go. They should re-activate your account same day as docs received.
